Dr. Alvarez (Simon Andreu)

Character

Dr. Alvarez is a leading researcher in gene therapy, and is based at his clinic in Cuba. His primary patients are Cuban leaders, who visit for life-extending treatment. Zao uses the clinic to recover from the attaché case explosion in Korea that left diamonds embedded in his face. The treatment leaves Zao hairless with albino skin.

Alvarez is interrogated by Jinx in his office, before she assassinates him and blows up the offices above the clinic.

Biography

Born: 1st January 1941, Sa Pobla, Mallorca, Spain

Born Simón Andreu Trobat, he began acting in film at only 20 years old in 1961. The early start to his career meant he did not finished his dramatic arts studies.

"Die Another Day" is Andreu's first major blockbuster.

His next project is "Beyond Re-Animator" released in 2003.
