A convicted criminal who escaped from prison by strangling his psychiatrist, Emile Locque is Kristatos' right hand man. Locque callously kills Bond's contact and attempts to put 007 out of action. Bond hits back, however, and chases Locque down before ruthlessly pushing his car over a cliff with Locque still at the wheel.

Personality

A convicted criminal who escaped from prison by strangling his psychiatrist, Locque is a cold emotionless killer. Intelligent and patient in pursuit of his prey, whether it is a kill or the accomplishment of a particular effect. He is proficient in engaging and organising the necessary forces to complete a job, retaining a calm unperturbed exterior completely in control of a situation.

Involvement

Working for Kristatos as a hitman, it was Locque's job to give the appearance that Columbo was the enemy. Locque did this by attempting to kill Bond and then assassinating his contact, Ferrara, and leaving a pin of a white dove (Columbo's insignia). Then Locque heads a group of Kristatos' men as they run down Columbo's mistress, Lisl. Had it not been for the intervention of Columbo's men Bond would probably have been killed as well. Once Bond learns the truth he tracks Locque down and after a chase with Bond on foot and Locque in a car, Bond mercilessly kills Locque by kicking his car, with Locque inside, off a cliff, after returning to him the pin he left with Ferrara.
