Movie news and rumour website IESB have claimed that Clive Owen is about to be announced as the sixth James Bond 007.

The award winning actor has been continuously tipped to take over ever since Pierce Brosnan announced his departure from the role.

The site headline simply says "BREAKING NEWS Clive Owen confirmed to be the next James Bond? More Details to Follow", leaving fans holding their breath for further news.

Owen's latest film, "Sin City", opens in three days time in the USA on April 1st 2005.
