Sony chairman emphatically denies latest Pierce Brosnan rumours

Sony chairman Michael Lynton told Daily Variety that he doesn't know who'll star in the next James Bond film Casino Royale in 2006.

He emphatically denied an item posted - and sourced to Judi Dench, who plays M - claiming Pierce Brosnan is still the man to play 007.

Yesterday, Eon Productions refused to comment on the fresh Brosnan rumours when quizzed by the BBC.
