Timothy Dalton, who took over from Roger Moore to become the fourth James Bond, is celebrating his 61st birthday today.
His stint as 007 was somewhat short lived, only appearing twice ("The Living Daylights", "Licence To Kill") before
protracted legal issues and other problems paralysed the Bond franchise in the early 90s. Dalton publicly stepped down on 12th April 1994 to make way for Pierce Brosnan.
Recently, Dalton has appeared in the hit British film "Hot Fuzz", due to open in the US in April.
Dalton was born on March 21st 1946 in Colwyn Bay, North Wales.
