Mathieu Amalric`s villain in Bond 22 reportedly named Maurice Green

In a new tidbit from Mathieu Amalric about his upcoming role as a villain in the 22nd James Bond film, the French actor has named his character.

In an interview with French magazine Première, Amalric said the villain will be called Maurice Green.

When describing his role he said he prefered the English word "villain" rather than the French "méchant" ("nasty").

MI6 understands that Amalric's character will be the central villain in the film, supported by a sidekick played by Swiss actor Anatole Taubman, and a South American villain played by Mexican actor Joaquin Cosío.

None of the details reported on the castings have been officially confirmed by Eon Productions.
