Actress Joanna Lumley has revealed that she is working on a new television documentary about Ian Fleming.
She told
The Independent, "this summer I've been working on an Ian Fleming documentary for the BBC so I go to a studio to put the commentary over it. Having been a Bond girl, watching all the footage in a dark room really transports me back."
Lumley featured as one of the girls at Blofeld's clinic in the 1969 James Bond adventure "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" starring George Lazenby as 007.
She also co-hosted the
Ian Fleming tribute gala last night with Stephen Fry.
There are no details on when the Fleming documentary will air, but it will likely hit screens around the time "Quantum of Solace" is released in theatres in the UK - October 31st 2008.
