Alan Davies hosts the glittering ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, as the creme de la creme of the crime-writing fraternity join a star-studded audience to learn the winners of this year's Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards.

Categories include the CWA Gold Dagger for best crime novel of the year, the Hall Of Fame Dagger, which honours the achievements of the genre's greatest exponents, and a new award - the ITV3 Bestseller Dagger, whose winner has been selected by ITV3 viewers.

The Ian Fleming Dagger, in honour of James Bond's creator, is award to the best thriller.

Guests include Rupert Penry Jones, Martina Cole, Amanda Redman, Emilia Fox and Colin Dexter
