French actress Eva Green has said that her role in the James Bond franchise has helped make her more "bankable".
"It was a blessing definitely," Green told the
BBC after the screening of her latest film Cracks at the London Film Festival.
"It brought me luck and it was commercial, but people liked it and now I'm a bit more bankable - which is good."
Green starred as Vesper Lynd alongside Daniel Craig in 2006's Casino Royale.
She said that even three years on she was asked about her Bond role all the time.
In Cracks, she plays a charismatic teacher at a girls' boarding school in 1930s England.
The big screen drama is directed by Jordan Scott - the daughter of director Sir Ridley Scott, who directed Alien, Bladerunner and Gladiator.
Based on Sheila Kohler's novel set in South Africa, Cracks is due on general release in the UK in December.
