Movie: Dr. No
Age: 49

Status: Deceased

A Jamaican fisherman who appeared in Bond's first big-screen adventure, Quarrel was a much needed ally. In Dr. No, he assisted 007 in his mission to track down the source of the disruption to the American space program. He was the only person willing to take Bond to Crab Key because of the rumours of the dreaded dragon, which finally caused his untimely demise.

Personality
Quarrel took his work very seriously, he was superstitious in a way that he believed the myth of a fire breathing dragon protecting Crab Key, he was somewhat true to the point, but it was actually the "dragon-tank". Quarrel had somewhat of a sense of humour, but was a little high strung about the situation. He was known for his vices in drinking and smoking.

Involvement
Quarrel was an undercover CIA agent, posing as a deep sea fisherman. Bond first met Quarrel in the back of Puss-Feller's club, initially Bond and Quarrel suspected each other as enemies, until Bond was introduced to Felix Leiter. Quarrel proved to be a valuable ally to Bond as he aided in the investigation of Strangway's disappearance. Quarrel had said he knew many people who visited Crab Key and never returned, and that it was rumoured there was a "fire breathing dragon" guarding the island. On their venture to Crab Key, they discovered the dragon, which was actually an army tank with a few deadly attachments, like a flame thrower. During a shootout, Quarrel was engulfed by the flames, and he also never returned from Crab Key.
