Backgrounds Help

Ensure you have installed Microsoft MSN Messenger 6.

Storing Backgrounds

  1. Visit the MI6 Background galleries
  2. Left-click the background you wish you save
  3. A new window will open to load the full image.
  4. Right-click the larger image.
  5. Select "Save Picture As.." from the pop-up menu
  6. Save the picture to a location on your computer

Setting Your Background

  1. Open the MSN Messenger main window
  2. Click the Tools menu
  3. Select the "Create Backgrounds" menu option
  4. A "My Backgrounds" window will pop up.
  5. Click the "Browse..." button
  6. Navigate to the location where you have saved the picture/s.
  7. Click "Open" to select the file.
  8. Close the "My Backgrounds" window.
  9. In an MSN Chat window, simply scroll down the drop down list of Backgrounds and select the one you wish to use.

You can share you customised background by clicking "Share Current Background" on the "Backgrounds" drop down menu in a chat window.
