Destiny Falls

“In this business you come prepared for the unexpected.”
“But somehow it always catches you by surprise.”

Agent 007 returns in William Fischer’s debut novel, firing James Bond into his darkest mission yet; a world of horror, mystery, and uncertainty.

James Bond returns from a mission in Paris that failed through betrayal. The 00-section has been investigating an international terrorist organization quickly becoming a threat - Chrysoberyl. When threats are sent to the American and British governments and the MI6 base in Scotland is attacked, the 00-section is sent out in Operation: Cat’s-eye, a mission to put a stop to the organization. Bond is sent off to Romania to discover if there is a connection between the attack on MI6 and strange activities occurring in the region. He is left on his own to work with contacts Jack Wade, Serguei Charikov, and Dmitri Chevchenko.

But Bond’s mission may end up being too much for even MI6’s greatest secret agent. For in this mission terrible distractions from the job surround every corner. The family curse of Chevchenko, gypsy superstition, and numerous attempts on Bond’s life are just the start of it. Left to be on his own, and with the chance of one of his contracts being a traitor, Bond soon finds his mind falling victim to conflicting worlds. The final distraction is the mysterious sister to Chevchenko. While she appears shy, mousy, and bored, and her encounters with Bond and strange resentment of the people around her suggest otherwise. As this apparently dangerous woman and increasingly unexplainable events appear to arise, Bond may well not die from those seeking his life, but from his own madness…

About The Author

William Fischer only became interested in the world of James Bond a little over a year ago when he saw Die Another Day, but once he learned about the world of 007, he instantly became a fan of it. His favorite films being those of George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton, he aims to have Destiny Falls be a blend of those films, the Fleming novels, and a suspenseful, horrific mystery story. Destiny Falls is the first film in a seven-part series of novels and short stories featuring the Chrysoberyl terrorist organization.

Outside Bond, William is interested in several animes and other animated programs, books, motion pictures, and computers. Although Destiny Falls is his first real piece of work with so much thought behind it, he has also been writing other fanfiction based on animated shows and films since 2001. He has also worked on his cousin’s and brothers fan films as the cameraman, editor, and co-writer.
