About The Author
Andrew Hixson was born in Barnet, Hertfordshire
on the 28th January 1958. He was educated firstly
at Littlegrove Primary School and then Challoner
Catholic School for Boys. Leaving school with just
two 'O' levels in English Language and English Literature,
he went and worked for his Father at Smithfield
Meat Market. In 1978 as part of the company's rationalisation
programme he moved to Suffolk where he met his wife,
Julie. He still lives and works in Suffolk, and
has two grown up daughters, one has just graduated
from Cambridge University and the other is training
to be an Accountant. Apart from writing, Andrew's
main interests are following the fortunes of Arsenal
Football Club, golf, table tennis, squash and ballroom
dancing with his wife. Pain Is A Permanent Address
is his fourth short story about James Bond,
in a series of seven under the collective banner
of: The Rough With The Smooth, which was
Ian Fleming's original title for: For Your Eyes
Only.
