Pre-Credits Sequence
The period is cold-war Russia. The agent James Bond 007.
GoldenEye opens with a man dressed in black running across
a dam with bungee cord. The figure is soon revealed as 007
when the moment of the jump takes place. Bond enters the
chemical weapons facility located at the bottom of the dam
and meets up with fellow agent 006. The mission is to destroy
the facility, however things tour sour at the penultimate
moment when 006 is supposedly shot dead. Bond escapes the
building after resetting the timers on detonators, but gunfire
ensues as 007 steals a motorcycle and catches up with a
taxiing plane. Both Bond and the pilot fall out of the plane
which then fly's off the end of a cliff, but 007 is quick
to pick up another motorcycle and jumps the cliff to free
fall after the plane. He catches up, gets inside, takes
the controls and then flies off to a background of explosions.
