Dionne Warwick recorded "Mr Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" (music by John Barry, lyrics by Leslie Bricusse) which was originally intended to be the title song for the film. The producers then decided the theme song should be based around the title of the film, and Tom Jones' track was used instead. An instrumental version of Warwick's song was used in the soundtrack, and "Kiss Kiss" is also the name of the dance club in the film.
