One of Gupta's electronic gadgets used to interfere with the radar navigation system on ships.

Use

Gupta used the device to make the Devonshire appear to be in international waters, when it was really Chinese territorial waters. This made it look to the British as though China had sunk the Devonshire when it was in international waters. Bond took the device from a safe in Carver's building for the CIA to investigate it.

Specs

The device was a small metal box with about twelve red LCD digits, which changed constantly. It was used by connecting it up to other radar equipment. The device was stored in a red case, with a lid that raised electronically when opened.
