Personality

A trick shot assassin, he travels the world and is in great demand. As well as having a doctorate in forensic medicine he also has a hobby for torture, which he is quite gifted at.

Dr. Kaufman having already killed Paris Carver, is given the seemingly simple task of assassinating Bond and making it look like 007 was responsible for the death of Paris. Not quite as easy as it appears.

Involvement

Dr. Kaufman only appears once as he is completing his assassination assignment. He strangles Paris Carver to death before waiting for Bond to arrive at her hotel room. His seemingly simple trap falls foul of Q-Branch when he uses Bond's phone to try an unlock the 007's car. The high-voltage stun charge gives Bond enough time to turn Kaufman's gun on himself.
